The concept of G code conversion is INNOVATIVE and PIONEERING … so it may be new to some CNC’ers. The fact is that … as the chart below explains … it’s really a NO BRAINER !! Re-programming and re-posting bring their own issues to the table not the least of which is preserving the current, proven toolpath. In addition, when converting G code where previous CAD files are not available … it is the ONLY option that makes sense. It’s TIME to THINK about youre shop floor and all your CNC’s in a NEW WAY !!
